To purchase a rifle from the CMP, a purchaser must:

at the time of online submission. Failure to send or provide information
will result in delay of shipment.

1. Be a U.S. Citizen. You must provide proof (If you haven't already) of U.S. citizenship. A copy of a U.S. birth certificate, passport, proof of
naturalization, or voter registration card is acceptable.

2. Be at least 18 years of age. You must provide proof (If you haven't already) of age. Usually proof of citizenship also provides proof of age.
In those cases where it may not, a driver’s license is sufficient.

3. Be a member of a club or state association affiliated with the CMP. You must provide (If you haven't already) a copy of your
current membership card or other proof. This requirement cannot be waived. NRA membership, military, law enforcement
or age status do not qualify as club membership. The CMP currently has over 1,400 affiliated clubs and an affiliated state
association in each state. The Garand Collector’s Association is also an affiliated organization. Membership in many of
these organizations costs $20 or less annually. If you have any difficulty in finding an affiliated club, please contact the
CMP at 419-635-2141 or check the club listings on www.odcmp.com.

4. Have participated in a marksmanship activity where at least 50 rounds of range firing were completed.
You must provide (If you haven't already) a copy of a results bulletin from a competition or clinic completed within the last five years or
other proof you fired at least 50 rounds. Providing proof (If you haven't already) of military or law enforcement service or proof of Distinguished,
Instructor or Coach status will satisfy this requirement. This requirement is waived if your proof (If you haven't already) of age shows you to be at
least 60 years of age. This requirement does not apply to drill rifles.

5. Be legally eligible to purchase a firearm. The information you supply on your application will be submitted by
the CMP to the FBI National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) to verify you are not prohibited by Fed-eral,
State or Local law from acquiring or possessing a rifle. Your signature on the Purchaser Certification and Agreement
authorizes the CMP to initiate the NICS check and authorizes the FBI to inform the CMP of the result. IMPORTANT: If
your State or locality requires you to first obtain a license, permit or Firearm Owner ID card in order to possess or receive a
rifle, you must e nclose a photocopy of your license, permit or card with this application.

6.
**Complete the Purchaser Certification and Agreement and sign it before a Notary. Orders received
without a notarized signature will not be processed. PLEASE NOTE: THESE RIFLES ARE FOR PERSONAL USE ONLY
AND NOT FOR COMMERCIAL RESALE OR DISPOSITION.

**Fill out the order form, indicating the type and grade of rifle(s) you desire, and send the completed Order
Form, Purchaser Certification and Agreement, your payment and all necessary enclosures to satisfy items
1-6. (If you haven't already) (Order form and Certification done online, Notary still needed on the online Certification process.
