The CMP's Competition Tracker will allow JROTC Instructors to register their teams and order targets.

The 2013-2014 JROTC Postal Competition will officially open on Oct. 1, 2013 for young cadets in the Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force JROTC programs who would like to go score-to-score with other talented shooters across the nation.

New this year, Midway USA will be a prominent sponsor of the 2013-2014 JROTC Championships. Midway USA has agreed to donate $454,000 in endowments awarded to the top teams in all three phases of the JROTC Championships.

To compete, registered participants will each receive three targets and instructions for recording scores. Shooters will fire in each of the three positions at their home ranges – using one target for each position. Once record shots are fired, shooters will return the targets to CMP for scoring.

As in years past, CMP staff members will verify scores using the Orion Visual Image Scoring system. Results will be posted within Competition Tracker for teams and individuals to check during the postal season.
